It's exactly what 1 corinthians says in 1:26 - none of us were wise, of noble birth, or powerful - but God chose the foolish to shame the wise, the weak to shame the strong, the low and despised - we are broken vessels to display His glory. The beauty of the Gospel is that it doesn't make sense if we're seeking our own glory, but makes perfect sense when you view it from the perspective of God's glory. :-) :-)
